I’ve used all types of collagen and marine is the one I prefer.It’s the most sustainable and uses parts of the fish we discard.Being in my 50s I’m in dire need of it, as we stop producing it gradually from our 30s.It allows me to get on with my fitness and keeps me moving. It also has a great effect of my hair, nails and skin. It will take 4-6 weeks for you to start to notice these effects but they are very noticeable once it’s in your system.This collagen is good quality and a decent dosage. I believe in the benefits of collagen and I like it in powder because I use it for my smoothies.The taste of this one is not very pleasant, this is because I mix it, especially with fruits.The size is good 300 g and the components are excellent and it is free from artificial which is fantastic, I think it is good collagen.

I’ve used a few different brands of collagen before and I enjoyed using this as much as some of the well known ones. It comes with a small scoop and 2 scooped of powder is all you need which is less than some brands I’ve used with still the same amount of collagen. Powder dissolves easily and is tasteless. This collagen powder contains 10000mg of collagen, in two, of the included, measurement spoons, and this is 10 grams of collagen. Studies have proven that to see the effects of taking collagen you need to take between 2.5g to 15g a day. Lots of tablets that are on the market have 800mg or 1000mg of daily doses, and I must say that they do not work for me in any noticeable way.This powder works for my joints, and helps with my skin, and is definitely worth the price, if anything just for the amount of collagen in contains. On top of this, it is also GMO-free, and because it is a pure powder, it does not have the addition of dairy, soya, corn or gluten that can be found in the shells of many tablets.The tub will last for thirty days, taking two spoons a day, and for the price of £29.99 (at the time of writing this review), it is definitely worth it. To make a big saving you, can get it on Subscribe & Save and pay less than £26 for it.The powder is dissolving in water very well, and leaves the water with a mild yellow colour to it. Need to be honest about this ,it is not the most pleasent thing I have tested.It does have a bit of smell/taste of fish and other ingredients.It does get dissolved pretty fast leading to a white milky colour water.It does come with a measuring.I can’t advise as yet of results.I do suggest of drinking it with juice or something else but not plain water.

Very high dose, bad taste and smell.
This comes in a tub with a measuring spoon. The powder is dry and not clumpy.This claims to be made from fish with no mention of crustaceans but check if you have any allergies which might be relevant.The powder smells quite bad, something like gone off fish and it tastes pretty bad too. Fortunately the dose per gram is very high and personally I am only taking one scoop per day rather than the suggested two.It mixes easily enough but because of the taste you need to either dilute it a lot or mix it in a strong drink. I’ve been mixing it in a small amount of cola and gulping it quickly, take like this it isn’t too bad.Like I said the 2 scoops a day seems a little excessive and only gives 30 days supply, I’m using one scoop a day to double this.I’m taking this hoping it will help with elbow tendonitis and occasional knee problems. It’s early days yet but so far I can’t say I’ve noticed any difference in my elbow but my hair and nails have improved as a bonus side effect.For now I’m giving this the benefit of the doubt and will continue to take it.

I have tried a number of collagen supplements in a variety of formats: capsules, powder, liquid. Whereas many people use collagen supplements to aid the health of their skin and hair, etc., my primary motivation is to aid joint health.This powder format is ideal for anyone who has issues with (or simply doesn’t like) taking more conventional capsules.The powder is odourless, fine and mixes well with my daily shake, which makes it very convenient to use.The tub contains 30x10g doses, so at the current price of £26.99 that works out at about 90p per day.This is slightly cheaper than the liquid collagen products I have tried, which have tended to come in at around the £1.00 – £1.10 per day mark – and it should also be noted that this is based on a significantly higher daily collagen dose, as many collagen supplements are only dosed at 5g per day.Although it can be subjective, I have been impressed with this product. It is convenient to use and better value than the liquid alternatives I have come across so far.So, if you are in the market for a quality collagen supplement, you could certainly do far worse than to give this one a try.I hope you find these comments helpful.

Good for joints
I tend to take the collagen for my joints, I am not even going to try to pretend it would improve my looks.In terms of helping me and my joints this does seem to be helping, I have a few jointed that get sore and this seems to help reduce just how sore they get, and for that alone I am happy with this.

Collagen Powder – 30 daily servings of 2 scoops (10g). Comes in a plain white plastic tub with screw lid – about 10cm in diameter so easy to scoop out the contents. Best before is on the base – mine was 19 months later – but use within 2 months of opening.The 2 scoops provide 1000mg and a whole host of other minerals.Tub has a sticker on wrapping all the way round – provides plenty of space for very clear nutritional information and other information.Usage – it mixes reasonably well, especially if you start by adding just a little water, then top it up to the 250ml. Another option is to use with an effervescent multivitamin. The effervescence helps mix the collagen.Seems to be good value, really clear text on the jar

I have been trying to take more supplements lately and have tried a few collagen supplements but thought I would give this one a try.You get 30 days worth with this pot.I found the taste wasn’t strong at all and tolerable and especially if its mixed in a smoothie it’s easy to take. When mixing this with water it didn’t make big clumps like a different one I have tried so I was happy about that. It makes it quicker to use if you don’t have time to make a smoothie.The only thing I did find the smell abit strong. So far , so good will just have to wait and see if I get any results from using.

Quite the adjustment
On the surface this was a great collagen powder mix. It’s easy to prep and dissolves easily. I dislike things that taste or smell fishy and while this is marine collagen (derived from fish) I’ve only previously had experience with flavoured collagen so this was quite the adjustment.Overall not bad but if you’re sensitive to tastes or hate things that taste fishy then I recommend adding this to juice, a smoothie or perhaps squash to help with the naturally occurring flavours. I can’t comment on benefits on this particular collagen product but I predominantly take it for it’s beauty benefits though it’s also helpful for the joints. Decent value, would recommend trying with the caveat mentioned.

Collagen PowderIt does not taste as bad as other similar products in the market, considering it has marine collagen. It comes in powdery white that can be mixed with warm or cold drinks. It fairly dissolves, even in cold water, but you’d need to stir it fast to avoid clumping. From what I know, one must take at least 5000mg of collagen daily to reap its benefits, which this product offers double. It has no aftertaste and includes a scoop for the right measure per serving. This can be a good alternative tho to what I am using.

Good value for a good strength, quality, collagen with added extras
The benefits of taking collagen supplements, especially for the more mature person, are well documented. The hydrolysed marine form is generally thought to be superior to the bovine form of collagen also powders and liquids seem to be regarded as better than tablets/capsules for absorption. This hydrolysed marine collagen from Vitazam is much better than our usual product in that it is a very good strength and also lots of amino acids. The taste is not great, very slightly fishy but I wouldn’t describe it as unpleasant. We tend to mix it into a smoothie or add it to a glass of fruit juice, my wife has mixed a dose into coffee and in hot chocolate. It is quick to dissolve and whatever mix it with the fish taste in undetectable.This is a really good quality, decent strength, product. Seriously smelly, but high dose!
This is a great product and form of collagen. 30 days supply, you use the scoop inside to take 2 scoops per day, added to water, or any other type of liquid. There are no instructions on the product label. So I used the product description. Firstly, the product smells so gross! It is not just a fishy smell, I can’t describe it really, damp, like washing that’s been left in the machine too long, or a dishwasher that hasn’t been turned on for days. It’s really disgusting! If you can get over that, then actually, it doesn’t taste half as bad as it smells. I added two scoops to 200ml of water to start with, this is too much water really, the powder dissolves very quickly and easily so I’d suggest the smaller the drink the better! The taste wasn’t great either. I have since decided to add the two scoops to my coffee and it is ok, the taste of coffee far outweighs any taste that you might find unpleasant from the powder.For the price, I think this is ok. Collagen products are expensive, this is using pure hydrolysed fish collagen and the dose is a very high 1000mg. I am finding since I am the wrong side of 40, this product is benefitting my hair, skin and nails especially. But being an active person, this is good for joints and muscles which require daily repair. I knocked the star off for the awful pong!! Otherwise, it’s a good form of collagen.

This is a great collagen nutritional supplement to support healthy joints, bones, skin and hair. Very well packaged, with clearly indicated contents, and recommended usage. Dissolved easily in my coffee and has no taste or smell. Very pleased with my order, definitively recommend!

Can’t fault it
I’ve used a few different brands of collagen before and I enjoyed using this as much as some of the well known ones. It comes with a small scoop and 2 scooped of powder is all you need which is less than some brands I’ve used with still the same amount of collagen. Powder dissolves easily and is tasteless. I have it in my morning coffee. Pleased and would buy again
